Wedmore Plastic Bag Free – Freecycle/Campaign

Enough funding was secured to give every child at Wedmore First School and Hugh Sexey’s Middle School a free Wedmore light-weight cotton shopping bag to promote the use of alternatives to plastic. Some stylish, roomier and sturdier shopping bags were produced and sold at cost price.
The occasion of Wedmore Street Fair on June 28th was ‘change over day’.
