Wedmore Community Co-Op
Edwardian Wedmore was one of the first places in Somerset to generate its own electricity, 16 years before Wells, and now it is pioneering again with a community-owned power co-operative producing clean electricity from two paddocks of solar panels. When this went online in late 2013 it was the first of its type in the South West.
